My biography

Dwayne Howard served fourteen years full-time as a senior leader and Elder of New Dimensions Ministries in Barbados alongside his spiritual father, Apostle Dr. Stephen Holford, and also served as the Senior Pastor of Faith and Life Fellowship Ministries in Hollywood Florida for just over a year. He is presently the co-founder of Awake The Flame Ministries, a family-founded global ministry that is called to awaken a passion for Jesus in the Nations. As a graduate of the Christian International Ministry Training College in Destin, Florida, founded by Dr. Bill Hamon, he also serves as a licensed minister in their Apostolic Network, which covers thousands of apostolic, pastoral, missionary and prophetic leaders across the globe.

Ordained as a Prophet to the Body of Christ in May 2011 by the Senior Presbytery Team at New Dimensions Ministries, Dwayne has been used by God to raise up hundreds in their prophetic gifting, flowing accurately in the gift of prophecy. He has also penned worship songs, and has instituted training that continues to raise up prophetic worship leaders and musicians. Dwayne is also an internationally qualified RTF (Restoring The Foundations) counselor having over fifteen years of professional counseling experience. He trains and mentors leaders of varying spheres ranging from business to the pulpit, is a John Maxwell Certified Coach, a bible-school teacher, and an author. Dwayne has written four manuals that focus on prophetic development, another exhaustive manual on understanding dreams and visions, a leadership development course titled Leader Ecology, and now Spring Up O Well. In February 2020, Dwayne was set apart as an Apostle to the Body of Christ by Bishop Bill Hamon and his Senior Presbytery Team at Christian International, with vision to pioneer the work that God had put in his heart for the advancement of God’s Kingdom here on earth.

He is often found faithfully behind the pulpit of his local church, while also traveling to the wider body of Christ, both locally and internationally. He is also keen in business, as an entrepreneur of two successful companies with emphasis in technology and marketing.

Igniting the lives of thousands with purpose through preaching the word and transformative prophecy, empowering and fathering leaders worldwide, releasing the demonstration of the supernatural, and seeing many souls return to their first love, Jesus Christ, Dwayne continues to run with his mandate from the Lord which he received from a life-changing personal encounter. The mandate received from Jesus Himself in a dream, is to contend for the release of the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, both in the Body of Christ and the world at large (Eph 1:17, Hab 2:14).

Dwayne is foremost a family man, and is happily married to his teenage sweetheart and wife of fifteen years, Tao Howard. She is also an ordained and licensed minister, co-laboring with him in the work of the ministry. He is father to three outstanding young men, Isaiah, Seraph and Jayden Howard.
